"It gets easier in Y2/M2.."

No. No, it doesn't. Not at all.
Not for us Dutchies.
It's bloody Friday night, and I'm up studying. Still.
What are they doing tonight?
A very cute guy and I have been discussing some things lately. Such as school.
Turns out both of our grades have actually dropped significantly since starting Y2. We used to get high-average/good grades, and we dropped to getting average grades since Y2. Wtf?

2.1 (Sexual reproduction and Embryology) kinda tired us out due to the lack of page numbers to learn (hello, if we're going to spend 15 minutes looking up and formulating an answer to 1 out of an average total of 360 questions for 6 weeks, we're not amused. Give us page numbers! Please?!).
And Methodology (KWM) rapidly followed after 2.1's final exam, giving us no time to take a break.
Of course, 2.2 (Cardiology) rapidly followed after KWM's exam, hence, still no time to recover.

And then, the majority of our class (59%) failed 2.2's bonus pt test.
Wtf?
No. Our second year in med school is definitely NOT easier than year 1.
Not at all.
